Open Shooting
Open Shooting, approximately mid-March through October, is available for non-members on Saturdays, 10am to 2pm. Cost is $10 per hour per shooter.
50-meter Range Policy
Club Members who want to use the range must first attend a Range Use and Safety Orientation conducted by the Range Safety Committee. This is a one-time requirement pertaining to all new and current members.
Safety/Orientation Sessions
During the winter months, November thru February, are usually scheduled and held in the club house prior to the general membership meeting on the 1st Tuesday of each month. Sessions start at 6:00 PM and last approximately one hour.
From March thru October sessions are held on the range by appointment only. There is no set schedule. Current and new members need to contact Carla Johnson or Jeff Harms to arrange an appointment.
As of 03/13/2010, 239 members have attended the orientations.
New for 2010 - Range Use Fee
Beginning in 2010, all Club members wanting to use either the 50-meter or 200 meter ranges must pay an annual $15 range use fee. This is in addition to the annual membership fee and applies to all memberships, regular, family and life. The gate combo is changed February 1st of each year. Only members who have renewed their membership, attended a Safety/Orientation session, and paid the $15 use fee will be given access to the range.
Ruger Rimfire Challenge
This is a Timed Event, shooting steel plates with
22 rimfire pistols and rifles.
