Dennis as soon as your dates are determined. Changes and

updates to the range calendar and bar calendar book will be

approved by Ray or Dennis only.

Pistol Range Policy

Club Members who want to use the pistol range must first attend a Range Use and Safety Session conducted by the Range Safety Committee.

Safety/Orientation Sessions

During the winter months, Nov. – March

sessions are scheduled and held in the club

house prior to the general membership

meeting on the 1st Tuesday of each month.

Sessions start at 6:00 PM. Members need

to have their name entered into the bar

calendar book for session scheduling.

From April thru October, sessions are held

on the pistol range by appointment only.

There is no set schedule. Current and new

members need to contact Ray Boehlert or

other safety committee members to set a

date/time. Sessions last approx. 1 hour.

Please, advise new and current members that

they need to attend an orientation. Long time

members need to attend and if necessary fill

out and sign a club Range Rule Use form.

Forms are available at the club’s bar and

pistol range.

As of 11/16/08, 153 members have

attended the orientations.

Rifle Range Progress

As mentioned in Kevyn’s letter, progress is being made on the rifle range. A couple of rifles have been donated to help raise funds, along with some cash donations. As the planning moves along there will be a need for donated materials and labor to help bring everything together. Check out the info concerning the Calendar Raffle on page 6. If every member just bought a ticket and sold a ticket we would be well on our way to making the raffle a success.  Design of the shooting area, baffles and back stop are what has to come next. Any help or donations would be greatly appreciated. Gun raffles to benefit the Rifle Range. Thanks to Gary Gausmann and Steve Statz. Check at the club to participate in a chance for 2 Great Guns. Buy up the tickets to help get the range open soon.
